Maneadero needs us.
Maneadero needs us. Together, we can help families recover their homes. ❤️🙏🏻
Storm Rachel has caused damage in several neighborhoods throughout Maneadero. In some homes, floodwater entered and left behind mud, property damage, and damaged belongings.
Behind every home is a family that needs support to clean up, make repairs, and gradually restore their living spaces.
At BajaEd, in collaboration with Baja Bound, we are working to identify the needs of affected families and coordinate assistance responsibly, making every effort to ensure that support reaches those who need it most.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who has already contributed donations, food, water, cleaning supplies, and other acts of kindness. Thank you for your messages, for caring about our community, and for helping us respond to this situation. ❤️
How are we organizing relief efforts?
We are visiting affected homes to understand each family's needs and compile a record that will help us distribute assistance in an organized way.
We will be receiving donations at BajaEd's BEI educational center and coordinating their distribution based on the needs we identify.
In collaboration with Baja Bound, we will seek to help with tasks such as removing mud, cleaning, and making repairs wherever our available tools and resources allow. We will also share relevant information about the homes we assess to coordinate efforts and extend the reach of our assistance.
What do we need right now?
In addition to food and cleaning supplies, we are identifying specific needs in affected homes, including:
Help removing mud and accumulated dirt.
Materials and labor to repair areas damaged by floodwater.
Boxes to help families store and protect the belongings they managed to recover.
Blankets, mattresses, and other basic household items for families who have lost these essentials or whose belongings have been damaged.
Financial contributions and material donations to help us address the most urgent needs.
We know we won't be able to replace everything that was lost or rebuild every home, but we can make a meaningful difference when we work together.
Sometimes, removing mud, repairing a wall, or providing boxes to store belongings can bring tremendous relief to a family.
That's why we're inviting you to join us. If you'd like to donate, please visit BajaEd to learn how you can contribute and help us respond to the needs we're documenting.
We would also appreciate it if you shared this post so more people can learn about what's happening in Maneadero and find ways to help.
The emergency doesn't end when the rain stops. For many families, recovery is only just beginning.
Thank you for standing alongside our community, trusting the work we're doing, and turning compassion into meaningful action.
May God bless every affected family and everyone reaching out to lend a helping hand during these difficult times. ❤️🙏🏻
